Published by McSweeney’s The Believer is a San Francisco-based magazine about art and literature.

So imagine our shock when we saw The Asylum featured in their pages.

      For what it is worth the movie monster is actually as least as good if not better than it over-hyped formulaic competitor Clover field.

      I have also truly enjoyed their imaginative adaptations the literary classics.
      Asylum has produced a masterful re-interpretation of War of the Worlds, Treasure Island, and I am Legend.

      While I haven’t seen the entirety of their library of films these movies are by order of magnitude better than the tried cliche adaptations coming out of Hollywood today.
