Very simple: "100 Million BC is 100 Million times better than 10,000 BC"

The best Asylum film in a while, very entertaining and a fun old fashion Sci-fi romp. I was very surprised at the amount of CGI shown in a single take a lot of the time and seeing anamatronics creatures was a bonus as I'm one for more practical than CGI.. However, to be a bit critical, I felt that the editing was a bit too extreme primarily with the water creature attack. All I was able to see was a green blur and splashing water.

Overall, loads of fun, gonna be getting the DVD when it comes out.

On March 11, the inmates at The Asylum will break out another kaiju-themed mockbuster, this time to cash in on the upcoming release of Roland (Godzilla 1998) Emmerich's 10,000 BC. They're turning the clock back even further to 100 Million BC for the story of a giant dinosaur brought forward through time to a modern city. It stars Michael Gross, who is well-known to monster fans from the Tremors series.

I still hope for the DVD we get the kick-arse art that you guys do (if you guys move to Photoshop floating heads like everyone else, you're down to two reg visitors) with "In The Tradition of CARNOSAUR and A SOUND OF THUNDER" plastered on the back instead of the crappy stuff Sci-Fi does for their DVDs.

Will be catching it on Sunday.
