It’s unusual that The Asylum will acquire a finished film, but when the movie in question is as visually stunning as EVIL, we’ll make an exception.
Check out the trailer for our August release here.

Okay, that looks very cool. Hopefully its not all visual style and bad film.

I can’t really say that I have a full understanding of the plot based on what I saw, However I’m curious about it’s release, based purely on the visuals in trailer, the film looks just as theatrical and creative as any of the other horror of seen in theaters lately, so why aren’t you at least going for a limited theatrical release of the film? Is it in English?

Dana,
Thanks for your comments. We’ve never done a significant theatrical release, but plan to do so in the not too distant future. Although EVIL is a Russian film, it is in English.
Hope you enjoy it.

Watching the trailer I wouldn’t say that this is “The Asylum”. It has all those modern effects and transitions, and so on. Done in a good way. I think that’s the way all your future films must go.
Good luck.
