Intervista a Latt
A few months ago we were surprised to learn that The Asylum has a significant fan base in Italy. There’s even a website devoted to our films (Interessante, perché solo un paio dei nostri film sono disponibili là…)
This week our friends at Pellicola Scaduta posted an in-depth interview with our own David Michael Latt.
You can read it in English here, or in the original Italian qui.
Now if only a distributor in Italy would buy some of our movies…

Nice site. Nice variety of vids available on there, man! …that’s the first time I’ve been able to find that Reelz Channel special on the Asylum. Love it!!

Curious. How much do you guys make ripping off the ideas of others, then creating a film with crappy directing, horrible scripting, and acting that makes me want to stab myself in the face? Instead of playing off of the popularity of big movies, trying making your own.

Interesting interview! In my country, Spain, there’s only one Asylum movie: Stuart Gordon’s King of the Ants. Pretty good! Which Asylum film do you recommend me to start? Mr. Latt, do you give advice to amateur filmmakers?
