The Asylum almost never acquires outside productions, but as soon as we saw Eric Red’s 100 FEET, we knew we wanted to bring this amazing thriller to the video market in the US.

Famke Janssen (left) stars as a woman who kills her abusive husband only to be haunted by his ghost while she is confined to house arrest.

100 Feet will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on October 20, 2009.

Update: Due to overwhelming demand, the release date for this title has been moved to October 6, 2009.

Very cool, been interested in this film in a long while. Can’t argue with a movie from the guy who wrote “Near Dark” and directed “Bad Moon”. Wondering if there will be any special features on the disc like a commentary of making of featurette.

I think I saw this on the Sci-Fi Channel a while back. Well, the first ten minutes of it at least. Not one of my favorites I’m afraid. When the chick got out of jail and she never spent so much as a second enjoying her newfound freedom, that just blew it for me. Now, if she had gotten undressed and changed into some more comfortable clothes, see, then I would have kept watching.

Uh come on…you got to licence a movie and you choose this shit ? Its boring as hell, watched it a while ago. Framke is the only good thing in this shitty flick.
