Every week I get dozens of emails from people asking how they can work on/act in an Asylum production.

All I can say is be careful what you wish for. The hours are long, the pay is meager, and do you really want to associate yourself with… us?

Oh, alright…

First, move to Los Angeles. There aren’t enough people here and the freeways are practically vacant.

Next, if you’re interested in working a crew position send an email and your resume here.

If you want to act, we usually post our casting notices here. Headshots are expensive, so don’t send them unless you know we’re specifically casting something… or you are super hot.

Finally, don’t give up.  If you don’t hear from us the first time, try again. If you’re really determined to ruin your career I’m sure we will eventually let you…

The trailer for 2012: SUPERNOVA is now available online.

Starring Brian Krause (Charmed) and (pictured) Heather McComb (Apt Pupil) and Najarra Townsend (Me and You and Everyone We Know), this action-packed disaster film marks the directorial debut of long time Asylum line producer, Anthony Fankhauser.

2012: SUPERNOVA will be released on October 27, 2009.

We just received word on the ratings for MEGAFAULT on Saturday and we’re excited to announce that over two and a half million people tuned in for the premiere (1.1 million in the target demographic)!

Okay, this is the last time I will beg you to watch MEGAFAULT (…until the DVD release in November).

The Original film premieres on Syfy tomorrow night, October 10, at 9 pm EST/8 pm CST (check your local listings… for some people on the West Coast it’s on at 6 pm…).

Our first Original production for Syfy, MEGAFAULT, airs this Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 9 pm (EST).

Contrary to reports on a couple of websites out there, this is not a mockbuster of 2012 (it was Emmerich that ripped us off). This is a completely original production (well… as original as a giant earthquake movie can be…).

So, if you really want us to stop making mockbusters, tell all your friends (and enemies) to tune in to Syfy this Saturday. We need a good rating to keep making bigger movies. And this is our biggest yet: Brittany Murphy, Eriq La Salle, Oscar nominee Bruce Davison, infamous porn director David Michael Latt and 400 visual effects!

Besides, I’m sure you can come up with a drinking game to make it less painful… or you can just drink. 

That’s what we do…

Last year we filmed MERLIN AND THE WAR OF THE DRAGONS in Wales and the locals had such a good time on the production that they asked us to come back “…and bring more money next time.”

Well, we honored one of those requests…

Principal photography is about to wrap on SHERLOCK HOLMES and the crew has just sent us the first batch of stills from the set.

SHERLOCK HOLMES stars Dominic Keating (pictured) from ENTERPRISE  with Gareth David-Lloyd (TORCHWOOD) and introducing Welsh local Ben Syder as the famous consulting detective.
