Committing Yourself
Every week I get dozens of emails from people asking how they can work on/act in an Asylum production.
All I can say is be careful what you wish for. The hours are long, the pay is meager, and do you really want to associate yourself with… us?
Oh, alright…
First, move to Los Angeles. There aren’t enough people here and the freeways are practically vacant.
Next, if you’re interested in working a crew position send an email and your resume here.
If you want to act, we usually post our casting notices here. Headshots are expensive, so don’t send them unless you know we’re specifically casting something… or you are super hot.
Finally, don’t give up. If you don’t hear from us the first time, try again. If you’re really determined to ruin your career I’m sure we will eventually let you…

I saw Teen Wolf on TV last night and Lorie Griffin needs to be in one of your movies! Yeah she’s probably 40 now, but I’m sure you can fix that in post production

What if I just want to poke around the set and flick pennies at people?

That would be fine, K.G. But are you sure you’d want to do that with your salary?

Parking is easier to fine in Burbank than West Hollywood. I would think KG would have some moneys left over being that she doesn’t have to worry anymore about backing up into cars.

I’ll love to work with you, even for free.
Do you need a french actor?
I played in a japanese movie a few years ago: “Godzilla X Megaguirus”, though I got killed at the 15th minute.
Asylum rules.

Just a heads up, we also post lots of auditions on ActorsAccess.com. Just know that as a first time Asylum actor, you probably won’t live through your first scene. You have to die at least twice before you get make it out of one alive.
