As previously reported here, The Asylum has finally started production on our very first western, 6 Guns.

Screenwriter Geoff Meed, who also plays the villain, has shared these production stills and behind the scenes shots.

The film is being directed by Shane Van Dyke and stars his father, Barry Van Dyke (pictured), brother Carey Van Dyke, Greg Evigan, Brian Wimmer, and Sage Mears  as the woman who becomes a gunslinger.

6 Guns will be released on March 30, 2010.

 Antonio Sabato, Jr. and Traci Lords (pictured) star in the classic sci-fi adventure of a US soldier transported to a distant planet in the midst of a war between two alien races.

PRINCESS OF MARS will be released on December 29, 2009.

I was just reading all the hate comments about 2012: Supernova on our youtube account and came across several like this one:

“i tot this was really 2012 and watched it and realised it was 2012 SUPERNOVA? =.= SUCKS. this movie sucks. and many parts its like SO SUPER FAKE.”

The funny thing is that most of these comments came in before either movie was even released.

In other words, they  meant to illegally download the Emmerich film, ended up illegally downloading ours… and then complained about it…

That’s like having a bartender give you a free round and then bitching because the beer isn’t cold enough.

Look, I’m not trying to end internet piracy, but I think there should be a new rule: If you illegally download a movie, you forfeit the right to go online and talk shit about it.

And I’m not saying you have to like our movies. But if you got something for free don’t complain about it.

That right belongs to the people who actually paid money to watch the crap we make.

Now, they have something to complain about…

Principal photography on METEOR APOCALYPSE has wrapped and the first images from the film can now be seen here.

Joe Lando (pictured) stars as a man searching for his family as the Earth is bombarded by debris from a meteor that has entered our orbit and begins to break apart.

Claudia Christian and Cooper Harris also star.

METEOR APOCALYPSE will be released on DVD on February 23, 2010.
