The Asylum in the News
Over the last couple of months The Asylum has appeared in a number of television and online news reports.
You may have already seen them, but if not, here are a few of the highlights:
Slate compares PARANORMAL ENTITY with some other film: http://www.slate.com/id/2252373/?from=rss
The Wrap interviews me and Rimawi in Cannes: http://edit.thewrap.com/ind-column/asylum-makes-steady-profit-titanic-ii-17326
CNN says we’re bizarre? http://edition.cnn.com/video/#/video/showbiz/2010/05/17/anderson.cannes.crazy.film.cnn?iref=allsearch
BBC News helps us avoid lawsuits: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment_and_arts/10120425.stm
Latt is still big in Japan: http://www.cinematoday.jp/page/A0002474
He also loves to point out that he gets more press than either of us: http://moviemavericks.com/?p=2379
Our friends at io9 prove they still have good taste: http://io9.com/5554760/the-asylums-alien-vs-hunter-still-better-than-aliens-vs-predator-requiem
Mega Movies: http://www.101distribution.com/article/Pop-Shots-43
I’m always a little surprised (and humbled) when a big outlet like The Huffington Post “just realizes” we exist: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/06/06/the-most-ridiculous-holly_n_602146.html
By the way, we DEMAND a retraction! We had nothing to do with METAL MAN (damn it…).

Hey, Trevor from Movie Mavericks here, great links! I’ve always enjoyed the fun you guys seem to have with the press. David’s an interesting guy and a fun interview, glad I got a chance to steal him away from the Asylum for a few words. Keep up the good work.

In related news, I’m always at the Asylum website and just realized that the Huffington Post exists.
What’s with Airline Disaster? The trailer looks cool, but I’m thinking the title could either use an exclamation point — AIRLINE DISASTER! — or perhaps the word “Mega” in front.

Internet person The Cinema Snob apparently gave a look to your Sherlock Holmes film, and made a video log thingy (technical term there, thingy) to attempt to explain just why he liked it so much.

Make a move based off of Last Airbender
I’ve never been you guy’s biggest fan infact I usually roll my eyes but the fanbase for the cartoon series that inspired M knights awful fuck of a film would probably watch your movie in droves!
And god knows you guys could easily do it better.

Still think you guys need to make a follow-up to Snakes on a Train and call it S.O.S. Snakes On a Ship lol. Snakes on a Train was one of my fave flicks that you guys made. I would most definitely watch that!
