As 2010 comes to a close, I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for a fantastic year.

2010 was not only the most financially successful year we’ve ever had (send frivolous lawsuits here), but it’s also the first year that if someone asked us if they’ve heard of any movie we made, the answer was usually “yes.” It was the first year that our colleagues and competitors complimented us on our “business model.” And it was the first year that reviews of our films often included the phrase “wasn’t terrible.”

And something else happened in 2010 that I never thought I would see: In pop culture I get the sense that it’s starting to be cooler to like us than it is to hate us.

None of this would have been possible without you. The fans who like our movies, the distributors and networks who support them, and the noobs who only picked them up for lolz.

For those of you in Austin, Texas, MEGA PYTHON VS GATOROID will premiere theatrically on January 15, 2011 at the Alamo Drafthouse at the Ritz.

For everyone else, MEGA PYTON VS GATOROID will have its US television premiere on January 29, 2011 only on Syfy.

Cody Deal (pictured) plays the Norse thunder god who must defeat the villainous Loki (Richard Grieco) before he can destroy both the world of the gods and the world of men.

Former WWE star Kevin Nash plays Odin, the King of Valhalla, and Patricia Velasquez (The Mummy) plays Jarnsaxa, the demigoddess who trains Thor for his ultimate confrontation with Loki.

ALMIGHTY THOR was written by Erik Estenberg and directed by Christopher Olen Ray.

Get ready for hammer time in Spring 2011.
