Very interesting. I like the titling stuff for video on demand. It’s like how you guys used cover art in brick and mortar video stores. Genius.

I was quite curious how Asylum is still going after the downfall of Hollywood Video (RIP) and Blockbuster (well ones near me are still going). It shows a great flexibility when it comes to adapting to the marketplace that probably other companies of Asylum’s size might not have been able to do.

Personally, though I like Netflix Instant Queue; overall I don’t care for VOD/Streaming. I loved walking the aisles oF Hollywood Video for an hour or so, strolling and getting surprised. Asylum’s artwork always caught me as to be quite honest it has some of the best artwork. Being surprised is something with ‘recommendations’ on Netflix and such, doesn’t happen as often.

      Good times, good times.

Man I miss Hollywood Video :(

      SPIDER-MAN MOCKBUSTER PLEASE :)

I too miss walking through the isles of Hollywood Video and Blockbuster. It was always the artwork that determined whether I’d pick up a DVD from the shelf. Asylum folks: I applaud your level heads. I see too many peeps in the entertainment biz get distracted by the glitz and glamour. They forget that if you’re not making money, you won’t survive long.
