Encore of MEGA SHARK VS GIANT OCTOPUS at Alamo Drafthouse

Wednesday, June 15th, 2011 @ 1:17 pm | Headline, News, Other

In case you missed it the first time around, the best movie theatre chain in America, Alamo Draft House, is screening an encore presentation of MEGA SHARK VS GIANT OCTOPUS on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 7pm CST.

The film will be shown in “Hecklevision,” where audience members will be able to¬†express their love and admiration for this cinematic classic via live text, which will be streamed onto the screen alongside the feature.

It’s the only way you can use a cell phone in an Alamo Theatre without being publicly humiliated.

If you’re going to be in the Austin area next week, be sure to show your support for MEGA SHARK VS GIANT OCTOPUS (and for theatres that serve booze).

Trying to be the 21st Century ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW?

      I THINK THAT’S BRILLIANT!

The New Millenium needs a new movie that reflects both the outrageous fan base of the Asylum Inmates that they can bring the wife and kiddies to – and can also appeal to the homophobes who have shunned RHPC.

Plus (and this is the marketing idea), Asylum movies haven’t done very well in theaters. MEGA SHARK VS GIANT OCTOPUS could be your first theatrical BLOCKbuster! That’s right – I said it – BLOCKbuster!

I can see it now – the rivalling camps of fans dressed like sharks and octopi, fans dressed like Debbie Gibson and Lorenzo Lamas, audiences throwing chum and squirting ink – a theater owner’s worst nightmare, but still good, clean family fun.

Aw damn I’m visiting family an now barely fifteen minutes from the Virginia Alamo Drafthouse:(
