Our First Curse!

Pre-Production has started on ABRAHAM LINCOLN VS ZOMBIES in Savannah and our production team received this cryptic email:

I place the “Curse of Savannah”  upon your head and may it follow you the rest of your life if you make this film here. You have been warned.

How could anyone possibly object to filming a movie about Abraham Lincoln in Georgia?

Oh…

Sorry. That was intended for Seattle. My bad.

      Thanks Latt. Thanks.

    5. Rick Says:

Well, there’s plenty of SCAD students down there to exploit. They even got the editor of Virtuosity on staff as a Professor.

As long as your crew stay away from Lady and Sons (Paula Dean’s restaurant); the curse of clogged arteries will be avoided. That’s the only real curse to worry about down there.

    6. Daniel J. Roos Says:

I hope there’s a scene where Lincoln’s famously brief Gettysburg Address is attributed to having to rush off to fend of undead confederates.

Probably SCAD kiddos. Those artsy fartsy kids will protest to anything mockbusterish. They view it as “not real art” blah blah blah. By the way, Savannah is my hometown, and being that I write for a horror website I’d like to get some inside coverage on the film if possible. Production is only a hop skip and a jump away from me.

    9. Rick Says:

@Michael Lee, I graduated from SCAD this past summer and while certainly not every student was the “artsy-fartsy” type; there was a bunch. I’d call them more aloof than anything.

Proudly stating “Transmorphers” and “Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus” as two of my favorite films really didn’t win me too many friends in the ‘Professor darling’ circles.
