Continental Split

All three segments of the New Madrid Fault that run along the Midwest threaten to erupt simultaneously, destroying major cities in the middle of the country and creating a new sea that will split the U.S. east to west. As massive evacuations from the area begin, semiologists work with the government and military to stop the split before it starts.
